When hungry, head to Earls Pub and Grill on Main Street for classic American fare in a casual atmosphere, with an extensive beer menu to boot. Don’t miss their annual Oktoberfest event, where they serve a range of traditional German pub food with festive, themed décor. For a homey, country store vibe, swing by Spors General Store on Broad Street. Try one of the popular hot roast beef sandwiches with a side of curly fries or check out their large artisan beer selection.

For local meat, eggs and produce, you don’t want to miss the Windy Springs Farm Stand on Myers Road. The stand is open daily with their farm-fresh products, along with dipped ice cream in the afternoons. If you’re having trouble finding it, just look for the large red and green tractor parked by the road. For the rest of your shopping, head to Richland Marketplace on West End Boulevard, where you’ll find Target and other familiar retailers.

Proximity to main thoroughfares like Route 309 makes it quick and easy to get across town and beyond. When you want to get to the vibrant city of Philadelphia, an hour-long drive on Interstate 476 will land you in the heart of the city.
