The Central Tucson neighborhood of Shaheen Estates is surrounded by desert sand, flowering cacti and five massive mountain ranges. While that might sound remote, it’s also located in the middle of the 2nd largest city in Arizona. Recently awarded an A-plus grade from Niche and named a Top 10 Tucson neighborhood to live in, Shaheen Estates offers walking access to schools, cafes and grocery stores. This is also a good neighborhood for investment buyers.” Well-maintained condominiums list for $145,000 to about $175,000.

It’s about 5 miles south to Interstate 10, which connects to I-19 and connecting state routes, including Highways 77, 86 and 210.
