Featuring some of Tuscaloosa’s most elegant homes, the Townes of North River offers modern luxuries in a newly built subdivision. Though the neighborhood sacrifices some convenience to downtown Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama, homeowners are more than happy to trade it for serenity and a sense of togetherness. “It’s really a community,” says Madison Moore, a Realtor with the Alice Maxwell Group of Keller Williams who lives in the neighborhood. “You’re going to know your neighbors, your kids are going to play together. You hang out with your neighbors or you’re not going to want to live there.”
