The Grove, a luxury town house complex, has a pool, outdoor patio, fitness center and fire pit.

High schoolers attend the highly regarded Northern Highlands Regional High in nearby Allendale. Northern Highlands has an overall A-plus rating on Niche, having the highest mark for almost all categories, including academics, teachers and college preparation.

There's a wide range of programming for all ages, including Bridge Club, morning storytimes, arts and crafts, virtual author chats and more. At Elmer's Country Store, grab some sandwiches and salads and make your way to the natural oasis of Liberty Park Reflection Pond. Or, for more active recreation, play tennis at the Upper Saddle River tennis courts or ride the slides on the playgrounds at Lions Park and Hess Park. For groceries, a quick drive to neighboring towns will bring you to a Wegmans, Whole Foods, ShopRite and a Fresh Market.
Right on the state line, you can be immersed in Rockland County, New York's lush nature within minutes or be in Midtown Manhattan in about an hour by car. Several neighboring towns offer train and bus services. If subtle countryside living with a friendly community fits you, consider settling into life in Upper Saddle River.
