A Wakefield neighborhood with an MBTA station, dining district and elementary school
A mile south of downtown Wakefield, Greenwood is an established neighborhood home to Greenwood Elementary, a commuter train station and local shops and restaurants along Main Street. Though it’s primarily residential, these amenities are centrally located in the neighborhood. “Greenwood is where my heart is,” says Laurie Hunt, a local Realtor at North Star Real Estate Agents. “It’s very, very easy to get to public transportation. It’s also close to Melrose, which is nice. You can go to shops and restaurants in Greenwood but still also make it to shops and restaurants in downtown Melrose very easily.”
Greenfield has the ideal mix of residential streets filled with beautiful homes and a active commercial district just a short ride up main street.
