Wakefield Public Schools and Northeast Metro Tech High School
Students in Woodville can attend Woodville Elementary, followed by Galvin Middle School and Wakefield Memorial High School, all of which get B-plus ratings from Niche. Woodville Elementary and Wakefield Memorial are both located in the neighborhood. In 2024, 100% of Wakefield Memorial High School students completed MassCore requirements for graduation. Northeast Metro Tech High School, a four-year public vocational school, is also located in the neighborhood, and allows students to participate in an exploratory program their freshman year before choosing one of 17 vocations to focus on for the remaining three years. Breakheart Reservation is a more than 650-acre public outdoor space that occupies space in both the towns of Saugus and Wakefield. The park entrance on the Wakefield side is located on the eastern edge of Woodville. The reservation includes forested land, two lakes and views of both Boston and rural Massachusetts from the park’s rolling hills. Visitors can view exhibits and participate in educational programming at the Christopher P. Dunne Visitor Center, swim or fish in Pearce Lake, hike or bike the many trails, or just enjoy the scenery. The public-access Dobbins Tennis Courts are located beside Wakefield Memorial High School, and the neighborhood is also home to Wakefield Town Forest Park, a nearly 165-acre park with a dog-friendly 2-mile hiking trail.
Breakheart Reservation in Saugus is popular with joggers and walkers year around.
