A suburb next to a growing center city

Harding offers a mixed suburban and city feel, with the area including portions of both Warren City and Howland Township. Locals spend Friday nights cheering on the Raiders at the local high school or visit Cork & Cap to sample the wine selection in the tasting room. The western part of Harding has elements of city living, from the bustling streets of Warren's historic downtown. Those preferring a more laid-back lifestyle can settle down in view of the Trumbull Country Club. The northern corridor has several warehouses and manufacturing companies supporting the local economy. Meghan Reed, the Director of the Trumbull County Historical Society, says, "Over the past half-decade or so, there has been a notable resurgence in various industries and investments made by developers."

From modest styles to custom homes

Harding is a blended area that offers a medley of architectural designs. Along the residential streets are American Foursquare homes and a handful of Tudor-style dwellings with front-facing chimneys. The neighborhood also contains a collection of custom builds within the Morgandale section. Two and three-bedroom units are available inside the Willow Brook Condo Community. Harding includes modest bungalows and Cape Cods ranging from $70,000 to $150,000. To the west, larger properties and homes with country club views are valued higher. Colonial Revivals and ranches near the golf course can list between $250,000 and $475,000.

Celebrating Raider Pride near Warren

Most students attend the Warren City Schools District and start at Lincoln School, which receives a C from Niche. The school opens its doors for kindergarten to eighth graders, who graduate on to Warren G. Harding High, earning a C-plus Niche grade. As the sole high school in the district, it features a prominent landmark known locally as Old Warren G. Harding High. The recently restored historic facade showcases towering columns and arched windows. The building stands in front of Mollenkopf Stadium, where locals can expect the construction of a new youth wellness and recreation center nearby. Students living in the Morgandale section will likely attend the nearby Howland School District. Parents may also choose faith-based private options, Holy Trinity School or John F. Kennedy Catholic School.
