Most homes in the neighborhood are from the 1920s to 1940s. These draw from Craftsman, American foursquare and minimal traditional design sensibilities, and buyers can find them in a variety of conditions. A few homes on the south end from the 1950s and 1960s round out the market. These mostly have Cape Cod or split-level forms and employ a simple folk style with brick, vinyl or aluminum exteriors. Single-family homes with higher upkeep needs generally range from $12,500 to $37,500. Turnkey properties and updated homes typically sell from $45,000 to $145,000. Duplex homes in varying conditions range from $26,000 to $51,000.
