An established Wellington neighborhood
Greenview Shores is at the center of Wellington, offering a peaceful waterfront energy in an already quiet village west of Palm Beach. “It’s one of the most sought-after non-gated areas,” says Realtor Michelle Gibson of the Hansen Real Estate Group. “Compared to other communities, you won’t find the same price point with the amount of space you’re afforded. Most of the people in Greenview Shores live here full-time, and they range from families just starting out to people who have lived in the homes they built for decades.” Nearby Wellington International, also known as the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, is home to the annual Winter Equestrian Festival.

The winter equestrian capital of the world
Thousands of horses arrive during peak season, January to March, to compete in the heavily attended Winter Equestrian Festival at Wellington International. Each week acts as its own horse show with separate competitions in addition to the main events. Palm Beach Polo Season, held at the nearby National Polo Center, coincides with the Winter Equestrian Festival. "The people that come to the area over the winter are almost all horse people," says Jennifer Drahan, a Realtor with Keller Williams Wellington. "There are plenty of year-round residents that aren't horse people, but when horse season is over, a lot of those horse people choose to stay here."
