A cozy, gated community of single-family homes built around man-made lakes, Journey’s End is an appealing destination for those seeking their Florida oasis. Prices range from $600,000 for a 3-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot model to as much as $1 million for a 5-bedroom pool home. “The houses go up to 4,000 square feet, so they’re larger than most of the homes in the area,” says Silver, who is the community's resident Realtor, having sold 17 homes there. Monthly HOA fees range are affordable, ranging from $260 to $400. The community is far enough inland that flooding is not a serious risk, but wind can be, especially during hurricane season, and insurance rates may reflect that.

Falls Club of the Palm Beaches is nearby
Community activity is concentrated around the clubhouse. Inside, residents have access to a fitness center. Outside, residents can relax at the pool or stay active on the tennis courts. Children also have their own play area. Adjacent to the community are a pair of 18-hole golf courses. The private Falls Club of the Palm Beaches is the shorter of the two at 6,757 yards. The semi-private Winston Trails Golf Club stretches for almost 7,100 yards. Nearby, West Boynton Park and Recreation Center offers an array of traditional recreational amenities that include ballfields, hockey and skating facilities, lighted basketball courts and a gymnasium. The beaches of the Lake Worth oceanfront are within 10 miles of the neighborhood.

Journey’s End is close to top-rated Palm Beach County schools. Just outside the neighborhood are Coral Reef Elementary School and Manatee Elementary School, both of which earn an A-minus from Nice. Woodlands Middle School is rated B-plus, and Park Vista Community High is an A-rated school whose quiz bowl team won the county’s academic challenge in 2023.
