On the border between the countryside and the city, Niagara, 4 miles from Niagara Falls, is close to major cities, shopping, dining and recreation. “The town of Niagara is really nice because there’s a lot of space..., but you are in very close proximity to cities like Niagara Falls,” says Joseph Sciandra, a Realtor with Avant Realty. Sciandra has worked in the industry for 15 years. “The town of Niagara can give you access to the waterfront and other amenities that a city could offer, but outside of the city.” Niagara has access to shopping and dining, but there are also stretches of farmland and green recreational spaces. The town bridges the gap between the cities’ dense urban areas and the rural farmland just outside its borders.

“There are bridges to get into Canada. I’m noticing that many people buying are moving to the states from Canada. They moved for work, took a short ride over the bridge and are living here now,” says Sciandra. Canada is 6 miles from Niagara, by using Lockport Road and crossing the Rainbow Bridge.
