Suburban living next to Wheeling Park

Driving along National Road past Wheeling Park, folks might notice the Madonna of the Trail statue, which was erected in 1928 and is dedicated to the pioneer mothers of the covered wagon days who crossed the Appalachian Mountains. Today, residents of the Park View community still enjoy their neighborhood's serene vibes and these mountains, plus the added convenience of having Wheeling Park right next door. "Wheeling Park's a happening place," says Robby Kilgore, a local Realtor with Re/Max Broadwater. Offering everything from golf and ice skating to live music performances on a weekly basis, residents don't have to go far to spend time outside or to attend fun events.
