Plenty to enjoy, all easily accessible
Located in the northwest pocket of The Villages, a sprawling 55-and-over community, the Village of Belle Aire is close to many amenities, including a pair of nine-hole golf courses and the Savannah Center, home to an 800-seat performing arts venue. It’s the best community in The Villages, according to Bob Berube, a local Realtor with Realty Executives in The Villages, who lived here for 10 years. “I liked the social aspect,” Berube says. “It was near everything. Everything was accessible.”

Belle Aire bears a variety of floor plans
There are several different signature home designs across The Villages, and the Village of Belle Aire is one of the few neighborhoods that features just about every variety, Berube says. The list ranges from the entry-level “Patio Villa” homes that are just under 1,200 square feet to the “Designer” houses that start at three bedrooms and are considered The Villages’ most popular style. There are also some top-of-the-line “Premier” homes, the most expansive. Belle Aire’s houses were all built in the early 2000s and have been well-kept through the years. Residences sit on grassy lots that stretch from just under one-tenth of an acre to almost one-fifth of an acre and are dotted with mature oak and palm trees. Prices start at around $275,000 and can reach more than $400,000 depending on factors like square footage and lot size.

Golf is at quick reach thanks to Glenview
The Village of Belle Aire is around the corner from the Glenview Championship Golf Course, which features three nine-hole courses in total. It's close to the Fox Run and Tally Ho circuits, and both stretch more than 3,500 yards. The nine-hole El Santiago and El Diablo Executive courses are just a bit farther down the road. The Villages' Championship courses are open to the public, while the Executive courses are restricted to residents and guests of residents. Residents can also take advantage of the bocce ball and shuffleboard courts at the nearby Savannah Recreation Center, which is undergoing a $400,000 building renovation.

Swing to the Savannah Center for regular programming
The Savannah Center also includes an entertainment venue that can fit over 800 people. “Many, many acts come in here very frequently,” Berube says. “It’s also a nice place if you’re going to hold something, some formal function. They have rooms that are expandable so that it’ll easily hold many, many people.” Shows often include cover bands, honoring acts from Tina Turner to Led Zeppelin. About 5 miles along El Camino Real is Spanish Springs Town Square, where there’s live music every single night. Performances kick off at 5 p.m. every day, save for the rare occasion that inclement weather cancels them.

Residents of the Village of Belle Aire are closest to the Spanish Springs Town Square, where they can dine on crab cakes at Coastal Del Mar or lamb burgers at Amerikanos Grille. There's also shopping, including Shades On The Square Eyewear and the clothing store Bermuda Bay. Many like making the slightly longer trip to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square. “There’s more of a collection in terms of restaurants and shops and walking areas,” says Cheryl Parisi-Ciolfi, a local Realtor with RE/MAX Foxfire and a resident of The Villages. Hotspots there include Redsauce, an Italian restaurant, and GarVino's Cigars, Fine Wine & Gifts, which features a wine bar and a cigar lounge. People can grab a bite even closer at Glenview Country Club, which sits by the Glenview golf courses.
