Winter Haven’s downtown area is full of exciting events throughout the year. The historic Ritz Theatre was constructed in 1925 and operates today as movie theater, music venue and stage for theatrical productions. At the Winter Haven Theatre, patrons can enjoy community theater performances of their favorite plays and musicals. Krall recommends Bok Tower Gardens, 17 miles away, to enjoy tours and jazz music. In Downtown Winter Haven, locals can also use Citrus Connection buses to get around. Winter Haven Regional Airport is about 7 miles away; Orlando International Airport is 45 miles away. Winter Haven Hospital is 4 miles from the neighborhood for medical needs.
