Landsdowne is a residential neighborhood in northeast Ohio that has a rural vibe in certain sections, with its wooded patches and narrow roads. Still, it strikes a suburban balance with its proximity to Youngstown's urban epicenter. "It's one of the cheapest places to live in the TriCounty," says Realtor Rollin Gosney with TG Real Estate, who lived in Landsdowne for three years. "it's perfect for investors who want to get into the rental market or for first –time home buyers. I bought my first place there when I was 18." Another big draw to the area is Lansdowne's proximity to Youngstown State University (YSU), only a 2-mile drive on local streets. "A lot of people from the school come here," Gosney says.
