Park Knoll Home for Sale

Park Knoll offers a mix of urban and suburban scenery. First developed in the 1970s, this neighborhood has ranch-style homes, bi-levels, Cape Cods and Colonial Revivals. Some New Traditionals and Craftsmans from the 1990s and early 2000s are near the industrial south end. Many homes in the neighborhood come with fenced yards, pools and garden beds. While there are no parks within Park Knoll, Frontier Park and Noyes Park are not far and have baseball diamonds, tennis courts, an indoor pool and a golf course. The Menomonee River area runs along the neighborhood's west end, offering a natural setting with abundant wildlife. Dining and shopping options are limited here, but fast-food chains and national retailers are available southeast of the neighborhood around West Silver Spring Drive and North Lovers Lane Road. The nearby village of Butler hosts the annual Hot Rods on Hampton event, which shows off classic cars and prompts local bars to extend their services outdoors. Interstate 41 borders the neighborhood to the east, but its traffic does cause noise in the area. Residents get around by car, and downtown Milwaukee is a 15-mile drive away. Milwaukee Public Schools offers school choice.
