Creekside is a small neighborhood about 4 miles from March Air Reserve Base, a major local employer. “Moreno Valley is home to longtime residents and newcomers, including a large military and veteran community,” says Ulises Cabrera, Mayor of Moreno Valley since 2022. The area is also convenient for its proximity to shopping centers, highways and parks. There are a growing number of places to shop and eat in and around Creekside. Cabrera says the increase in local businesses is do tothe city's growth and comitmemnt to improving infrastructure. Alux Cocina and Mixologia opened in 2024 and served food inspired by Tulum, with live mariachi music. Mariscos El Zorrillo is the local favorite for fresh seafood. Alessandro Plaza, just south of the neighborhood, has businesses, gyms and local restaurants, while Moreno Valley Commerce Center has law offices and a few auto shops. Phil-Am Enterprises, Food 4 Less and El Super are nearby for groceries. Canyon Crossings is about 3 miles away and has Target and other national chains. Moreno Valley Community Park is located next to Moreno Valley High School and often stays busy with sports leauges. The park has four soccer fields and a skatepark.
