Military history is showcased at the March Field Air Museum located on the base, which is open to visitors every day but Monday.

Residents and visitors find it easy to travel in and out of Moreno Valley via the Southern California MetroLink rail, and CalTrans and Riverside and Orange counties are currently debating plans to build a four-lane thoroughfare between two major interstate routes, 15 and 215. Baseball fans will recognize famous Moreno Valley High School alumni Troy Percival, former closer for the 2002 World Series Champion Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and a notable Moreno Valley, CA native. Corporate and industrial business parks have given rise to employment in the area, and 35,000 students attend Moreno Valley’s 35 schools. College students have their choice of higher education at Riverside Community College, Chapman University, or the nearby University of California, Riverside and California State University, San Bernardino campuses among others.
