Why Live in Villages of Monterey
The Villages of Monterey is an active, gated Naples community with an eclectic mix of high-value homes around a pair of man-made lakes. Residents enjoy resort-style recreation and proximity to modern amenities and attractions. “It’s a friendly, well-run neighborhood,” says Jocie Jandovitz, Realtor with John R Wood Properties. “It’s a wonderful location, with access to downtown, shopping, schools and the beach.” Though home to villas and attached condos, contemporary single-family homes on spacious lots represent most of the community’s housing. Each housing type has its own homeowner’s association. Mature trees and custom landscaping complement waterfront views. “It’s not your traditional development,” Jandovitz says. “All the homes are custom-built.”
Driveways and attached garages are standard. Walking paths run through the community. Several streets end in cul-de-sacs, offering an additional level of privacy. Home prices range from around $900,000 to nearly $3 million. Attached villas typically list between $500,000 and $650,000. “It’s a very desirable neighborhood,” Jandovitz says. “A lot of the homes have been renovated, which is why the prices have gone up.”
