Sebring
Incorporated in 1899, Sebring was named after the Sebring family, who sought to create a pottery town with their ceramics factories. The height of this industry enabled 3,300 employees to work in the area and earned Sebring the nickname “Pottery Capital of the World.” The pottery has since declined, but the village’s small-town atmosphere remains.
