Founded in 2009 by seasoned builder Doug Howard, Doug Howard Builders, Inc. brings decades of hands-on experience and craftsmanship to residential construction across Northwest Ohio. Doug’s journey in homebuilding began in 1984 at the age of 14, working alongside his uncle Gene Patton, where he learned the many facets of the construction industry from the ground up.

In 1992, Doug and Gene co-founded Forestview Building Co., Inc., where Doug played a pivotal role in the construction of over 300 homes. His leadership and dedication to quality helped establish Forestview as a trusted name in the region.

Doug Howard Builders continues that legacy, offering homes that blend thoughtful design, quality materials, and personalized touches. The company has built in many of the area’s most desirable neighborhoods.
