For over 35 years, the Landon name has stood for quality, customer satisfaction, and value. John Landon, President of Landon Homes, has been a leader in home building since the 1980s. In 1987, he founded Legacy Homes, growing it into the nation’s 12th largest builder and earning numerous industry awards, including Texas Builder of the Year five times.
In 2006, Landon launched Landon Development, successfully completing multiple communities, including two master-planned developments with 1,000 acres and 2,700 homesites. A third, spanning 500+ acres, is underway, featuring single-family homes, luxury apartments, retail, and resort-style amenities.
In 2008, Landon established Landon Homes, assembling a top-tier team to build high-quality homes at strong value. Today, Landon Homes is a leader in design and value, with homes ranging from the 400s to over 1 million. As the company marks its 15th anniversary in 2023, Landon continues his legacy of excellence and customer-focused innovation.
