Sun Communities, Inc. (NYSE: SUI) is a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns, operates, or has an interest in a diversified portfolio of manufactured housing (MH), recreational vehicle (RV), and UK holiday park properties. Established in 1975 and publicly listed since 1993, the company is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan. As of June 30, 2025, Sun Communities' consolidated portfolio consisted of 501 developed properties across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This includes 284 MH communities, 164 RV resorts, and 53 UK holiday parks, totaling approximately 174,450 developed sites. The North American portfolio comprises 129,480 MH and annual RV sites and 23,440 transient RV sites, while the UK portfolio includes 17,510 annual sites and 4,020 transient sites. In 2025, Sun Communities completed the strategic divestiture of its marina business, Safe Harbor Marinas, which included 129 properties and approximately 3,880 wet slips and dry storage spaces. These assets were classified as discontinued operations following the sale.
