Three Oaks Communities

Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Three Oaks Communities (“Three Oaks”) is the first private developer in the United States to build entire neighborhoods for sale to the general public that are anchored by a variety of customized homes for sale to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (“I/DD”) and their families. Although Three Oaks’ role is limited to building inclusive neighborhoods (care services are secured by I/DD homeowners and their families), our unique concept is aligned with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement requirements for home and community-based services, promoting greater independence, autonomy, choice, privacy, dignity, respect, and community integration for all of our I/DD homebuyers.
