The positioning between UNO and Dillard University makes it inviting for students, professionals and staff at those schools, which is reflected in the almost even mix of homeowners and renters. Homes in the area are a mix of single-family houses and duplexes, many of which sit on a raised foundation, a lesson learned from the past.
