Upper East Side area with refined taste and neighborly charm
Though its name is relatively new and little known, Metropolitan Hill occupies a quintessential slice of the city, from 77th to 86th Streets north to south and Central Park to Third Avenue east to west. The world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art grounds the area’s west side, hence the name. Even with one of the city’s biggest attractions, the neighborhood has maintained its old-school character. Intimate side streets, ornate architecture, family-owned eateries and distinguished schools represent residents’ taste for laid-back luxury.
