Deer Ridge is an established West Omaha neighborhood conveniently located near schools, shopping centers and restaurants. It's primarily residential and about 10 miles west of Downtown Omaha. Most of the well-built homes are midcentury ranch-styles or split-levels with three to five bedrooms, and some feature recent upgrades. Prices range from the lower $300,000s to the lower $500,000s, similar to the adjacent Leawood West neighborhood. Most students attend Omaha Public Schools, and the highly rated Columbian Elementary School is within walking distance. Early childhood programs and day care are available right in the neighborhood at Omaha Montessori. Residents have access to the newer shopping centers and restaurants that distinguish West Omaha.
