The ranch consists of two main parts. The northern part of the ranch has 1 miles of shared boundary with MCAAP. It also has 1900 ft of Hominy Creek. This is the main creek that runs through the heart of the wooded portion of MCAAP and serves as a funnel that bucks follow off the base onto the ranch. In addition to a great location, this ranch benefits from a steward owner who has established over 15 acres of productive food plots planted with clover, rye grass, wheat, and turnips. He is also working to create a savannah type setting in the four food plots by planting various types of oak trees in them. In addition, there are both corn and protein feeders to attract and stimulate the growth of any deer that visit the plots. Quality hunting blinds are also located in the plots and provide a great place to view and hunt deer.

A wetland and three small ponds with the largest being 1.3 acres provide plenty of water for the wildlife. The ponds are stocked, so you can also enjoy fishing during the offseason. In addition, there is a comfortable ranch style home with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms for you and the rest of your hunting party to spend the night. A two-bay shop offers plenty of storage for your ATVs and supplies. A small shed could also be used for storage or remodeled to create additional living space. This part of the ranch consists of rolling hills with a total elevation change of 30 feet.

If you enjoy land with a little more elevation to it, the southern 120-acre tract offers stunning views and almost 200 feet of elevation change. This upland tract offers mile of frontage along one of the most secluded parts of the MCAAP boundary. A plateau extends from the peak of this tract eastward onto the base and will certainly hold bachelor groups of bucks, especially during warmer weather. A small pond, food plot and feeders sit atop this plateau and provide a great opportunity to see some massive bucks. There are three more plots scattered around the property. In addition, a pipeline traverses the property north to south and provides hunters with some long-range shooting opportunities.
