This has been my home for the last ten years and the quaint setting is amazing minutes from town but miles from the hustle and bustle. I have loved it here and can't say enough about the wonderful neighbors who have watched my children be born and grow they have been a part of my families life in so many ways it is impossible to describe they are the kind of neighbors everyone dreams of. Upon entering the home you will notice the amount of light that streams in. The foyer is light and bright and leads you into the open family room/dining and kitchen area. The flooring in this area is very high quality wood laminate flooring (Quickstep Perspective $7/sf installed) that lives up to the everyday traffic of a large dog and two small children. In the family room, there is a wood burning fireplace with electric blower (added in 2011 trim to be completed). The kitchen is truly a cooks dream and offers Juparana St. Cecilia solid granite countertops with large chunks of real garnet stone it is just beautiful (added in 2006) the cabinets are a very neutral natural hickory, there was a bar/hutch area added in the dining area in 2008. All of the appliances are extremely high end Kitchen Aid: dishwasher stainless interior and exterior several wash cycles, range/oven was added in 2009 and is dual fuel convection oven that is spectacular for the gourmet cook. The two bedrooms are large, light and bright and offer spacious closets with additional shelving on the ends for games, toys or folded clothing. The hall bath has a fiberglass tub enclosure, natural hickory cabinets and a spacious linen closet. The master bedroom aside from the large family room is probably what made me purchase this home in 2003. The master is truly a dream and is HUGE. Offering a sitting area as well as a large bedroom, this room is 12' x 24' and offers a large walk in closet as well as an en suite bath with dual vanities. The crawl space access is in the master closet and is dry as a bone we have never had a moisture issue (evidenced by the items stored in the crawl space). EXTERIOR: The lot this home is situated on is a large corner lot that offers amazing long range La Plata views, the back yard has a swing set (currently excluded) and a huge deck that I have spent countless hours entertaining on. There was a pergola added in 2010 as well as benches to the deck for shade and additional seating. There is a small covered porch area for dining as well. The hot tub is built into the deck and has been a wonderful spot for star gazing (currently excluded but may be negotiable). The irrigation ditch runs along the back of the property and has been a wonderful place for my dog and kids to splash and play in the heat of the summer. The yard is not fenced but offers a natural fence due to the home sitting below the road but if you should choose to, fences are allowed in the subdivision as well as RV/boat parking and non-metered irrigation. The wells are domestic only and you may not use well water to wash cars, irrigate or water plants. Please note there is a $750.00 water transfer fee that will need to be paid by the Buyer to the Florida Ditch for transfer of irrigation water.
