Due to being much bigger than Meeker, Rifle has a much bigger selection of grocery stores, dine-in restaurants, convenient stores with gas stations, a hospital, downtown businesses, and multiple other recreational amenities. In regards to recreations, Glenwood Springs, CO has the Glenwood Hot Springs as well as the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park which are must visits, and various other downtown attractions conveniently located less than 30 minutes east of Rifle! The closest airports that offer commercial air travel services are located in Gypsum, CO (Eagle County Regional Airport) and Grand Junction, CO ( Grand Junction Regional Airport ); both of which are around 2 hours from the ranch.
