42 years ago, Ron & Becky set out to find a place where they could raise a family. Somewhere with good schools, good neighbors, and if at all possible, a little bit of land. They found 10091 SW 60th. In the years that followed, they raised hogs, chickens, cows, and yes, even 4 children. They had horses, and taught their children to ride as well as how to take care of the horses. They had a big garden and taught their children how to can vegetables. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch style house with permanent 50 year steel siding that sits on 4.8 acres. There is a possible nonconforming bedroom in the basement. An expansion in 1989 added a larger kitchen and made room for a large main floor laundry room and pantry. And the stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer all stay. Hardwood floors under the carpet in the older parts of the home. The old Federal Pacific breaker panel has been removed and replaced with a new panel. The HVAC is new in 2018 and the A/C has a 14 SEER rating. Outside, there is a covered deck off the kitchen and another off the master bedroom. The one off the master used to have a hot tub but it's gone now. The home has an alternative septic system, a well with a new pump, an owned water softener, and a water heater with a lifetime warranty. The fire pit in the east side yard is great for those cold nights. They tell me you can see a lot more stars at night in the country too. There is a three car garage built with 2 x 6 studs and fully insulated. It has two 220v outlets. Next to the garage is a tall 2–car port big enough for a couple of RVs. In the back yard there is a club house for kids with golf cart/ATV storage underneath. and a merry-go-round too. Out in the field is a small barn/workshop/storage shed/man cave. It's where they raised the chickens and cows. Over the years this home has taken good care of them and they have taken good care of it.
