Situated by St. Johns Creek, the mature landscaping welcomes you under a blanket of trees in the middle of the prairie you will think you are in the forest, not the plains. Lots of space to spread out in the 4 bedroom home with a family room on second level & 2 full baths. Basement is for storage & has an outside entrance for access. Cadastral does not show square footage so is estimated. The detached buildings include a huge 60x160 barn/auction house that could be set up as a business with office areas & an area where animal auctions could be held. There is a detached 30x50 shop, 3 Butler grain bins, pole barn & another small barn for pigs or goats. Neighbor has erected a new fence line along property line that cuts off access to creek so current water usage right is in question. It is possible the new fence is encroaching based on the Certificate of Survey. Water for the home is gravity fed from a spring 1.6 miles from home & has maintenance agreement in place with land owner. Pipes were frozen & well pump has been removed so it is unknown if water source is still viable. When witched, a possible spring was located off the back side of the garage. The corral area also has an unrecorded well to water animals and supply the hydrants. It is inoperable so unknown if water is available. Septic was replaced in 2006. It was inspected early 2021 and found to be full and will need to be pumped. Furnace appears to be oil & is inoperable. Auction barn has oil tank for furnace, but is also unknown if operable.
