The home remains gracious and impressive in its simple elegance and scale, including the tall ceilings. There is a former "staff" stairway leading to the kitchen (one the finest custom kitchens you will ever see... It was actually imported from England) and even houses a wine cooler, sub-zero and Thermidor. This stairway is in addition to the grand Central staircase from the front foyer to the second floor landing.
