There are amenities and activities galore, including a heated pool, social hall with WI-FI, library, recreation room with card and pool tables, fire pit area with seating, bingo, bocce ball, large grilling area, dock for sunset gatherings and fishing. Inquire at the office about potential availability and fees for boat dock space and RV/boat storage. Eagle Point is a PARK-SHARE community. Park shares are not included in the home price. However, there are multiple levels of shares you can purchase, allowing you to purchase at the level that suits your personal financial needs. The minimum investment is FIVE shares, up to 20 (increments of 5) and each share is $1000. The number of shares you purchase will determine your quarterly association dues; the more shares purchased, the lower the quarterly dues. Dues currently range from $677.18 to $1,033.44 QUARTERLY depending on the number of shares owned. The dues include water, sewer, trash removal and recreational facilities. The share investment will be returned to you upon selling. Eagle Point is less than 1⁄4 mile from shopping and Rt 41, and just a few miles from historic downtown Punta Gorda. Punta Gorda has so much to offer with its miles of waterfront canals, golf courses, and local restaurants and shops nearby in a quaint downtown atmosphere.
