Must have the ability to see potential in this spacious home on pretty wooded acreage. The house is solid and is very well built, but is very plain and needs a total rehab. Driveway leads to the rear of the home which is not attractive. The electric service was moved (permitted and done by licensed electrician) to allow for a covered porch to be added over rear patio to create a new front entry. From here there are brand new french doors that lead into the HUGE family room complete with real masonry fireplace (it is covered with glass to keep birds from coming in the chimney). The family room is open to a large dining area and kitchen which has the original vintage dishwasher and space for cooktop and wall oven. The icemaker line on the refrigerator leaked and the floor is damaged in that area, but there are two layers of subfloor and the bottom layer was not damaged. Next there is a living room with a closet and a door to the front porch. This room was always used a 4th bedroom so steps were never added to the front porch. Please use caution at the bottom of the stairs as the subfloor is soft. There are two layers of thick plywood covering it, but be careful. At bottom of the stairs there are finished rooms to each side, both have doors that lead to the workshop part of the basement. Seller was planning to renovate but has been tied up with other projects. House may not qualify for financing. Needs a new roof, windows, floorcoverings, kitchen and baths renovated, etc. Does have brand new gutters and double entry door. Otherwise it's like stepping back in time to the '70's. No heat or water is turned on at this time. Power is on and several lights are on, please leave all lights on to make it easier to navigate through the house.
