There is a bedroom on the first level which is currently used as an office. The first floor bathroom has a charming glass walled shower with mullioned panes. It also has front loading laundry machines and clever custom built-in storage. The original 6 panel doors in the living room have been converted to pocket doors to maximize space and to add charm. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms under the eaves and two more full baths, each with a tub/shower. The hall bath has a white porcelain vessel sink installed in a vintage wooden bureau. The master bath has a unique vintage pink and white pedestal sink. The second bedroom has an alcove that leads through two new glass doors out to a private tree shaded balcony. The third bedroom has an alcove with a "Harry Potter" closet big enough for sleepovers. The master bedroom has a row of newer wood windows overlooking the garden and an alcove big enough for a generous workspace. The attic is accessed by a drop down stairs and is used for extra storage. There is also a storage shed to the left of the front door which stores garden tools and furniture. The house sits all the way to the rear of the lot which provides a glorious front yard all the way to the black iron fence and gates at the sidewalk. There is a side drive long enough for 2 or more cars, and a brick patio that extends across the front of the house and around to the west of it. Huge mature trees create lovely shade in the summer and the gardens are planted with perennials to enjoy every year. The setting could not be more glorious and the house could not be more charming. A place where you can really settle in for years to come.
