It was architect William Krisel's first work completed here in the desert and since 1957 this magical place has been welcoming visitors and residents alike. Known as the Dinah Shore Suite, this larger floor plan rarely comes on the market. At Ocotillo Lodge, Krisel created an exercise in contrast with thick architectural block walls balanced on the opposite side by light panes of glass which connected the indoor space with the outdoor space making both a cohesive whole. No wonder these homes feel so much larger. In the bathroom, the architect thoughtfully provided skylights above the sinks so that every part of the home is a bathed in natural light. this is one of the nicest and most authentic units at Ocotillo Lodge. HOA fee includes water, electric, gas and cable. Parking is any open space and there is always ample parking in this SW corner of the HOA. This unit was gutted in 2018, new floors inside and outside, new electrical and plumbing, walls, etc, lighting, etc, new bathroom.
