LOCATION/TRANSPORTATION: The apartment is a 1/2 block from 24th St, one of The Mission's main commercial streets. It's filled with cafes, restaurants and shopping. The are a ton of great places to eat nearby and you never need leave the neighborhood to go out. The apartment is one block from 3 major bus lines and 5 blocks from the 24th St BART/Subway stop which will get you downtown in 8 mins or to either airport or Oakland/Berkeley. What's great about The Mission besides its weather, is that it's flat- so very easily walked or cycled. There's a City Bike Share kiosk at the park on the corner where you can rent bikes by the hour. Because the neighborhood is so popular, it never takes more than 5 minutes to call a Lyft or Uber. 99 Bike Score!

Of course, the apartment is very close to 101 Highway entrance for access to Silicon Valley (though not close enough to hear any highway noise).
