Bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, ocean views, yes, this house has it all, but when I asked the seller to tell me about the house they shared the story of the home, which is much more intriguing and personal than a so-called property description:
“When my dad was looking for a home in the 60’s as a Navy Commander he knew he loved the Ocean so he just drove West towards Playa del Rey and the water and discovered the Waterview house. It was brand new at the time and For Sale. The views from the Living Room, Master Bedroom and Kitchen sold him instantly, not to mention that it was such a short walk to the beach and ocean. He made it home for over 40 years. It became the family gathering where my parents loved to cook big Italian meals and spent a lot of their time in the kitchen making raviolis, pesto, biscotti and memories. Neighbors still come around to offer a hello and a trip down memory lane. With the quaint restaurants in “downtown” PDR and the beaches being so close, the commute to LAX and freeways, and the “Silicon Beach” businesses flooding the area it truly is one of the best and most affordable ocean view places left to live. Oh yeah , it also comes with 4 bedrooms , 3 baths, a dining room, a family room, a backyard, and a 3 car garage.
