Why I Love This House: This house makes us smile every day. It starts in the morning with a short walk to the ocean (only one block) to see the sunrise. To have the advantage of being so close to the ocean, and at the same time, not right on the busy street is a blessing. This house is situated on a quiet little street that is great for riding bikes, taking a leisurely stroll, roller blading, or whatever you desire. Not many houses offer you sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the inlet. We looked at quite a few houses before we chose this one. The living spaces big enough for the whole family to gather, yet cozy, make it the ideal place for family and friends. Three separate decks give you a lot of flexibility. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to read, or a space to turn on the music and celebrate with friends, this house accommodates. The main level has new tile flooring combining the durability of tile and the beauty of a wood look.We have added much storage. An additional pantry in the kitchen, new shelving in the second pantry, and additional locking wall unit with shelves give you ample usable space. Both heat pumps were just replaced for efficiency and reliability. Outdoors has many recent improvements. The pool had been converted to saltwater. It is easier and less expensive to maintain, doesn’t fade your swimsuit, and is more gentle on your skin and hair. New pool lounge chairs accent the area. Last summer we had stone border and smooth river rock installed. The visual change adds curb appeal. The carport, driveway and pool deck were sealed last summer for easy maintenance. The two downstairs garages are ideal for golfcart storage, outdoor furniture, and pool and ocean accessories.
