Built in 1905 by the owners of the Holden-Leonard Woolen Mills, its elegance and refinement are displayed on every one of its 3 levels and no expectation will be disappointed. Overgrown gardens still hint at their beauty and were designed by Rose Greely, nationally known landscape architect. An L shaped stable borders the rear of the property. The home has retained all of its remarkable features (albeit with a brand new roof added this past year), and her infrastructure remains as sturdy and intact as the day it was built. However, the rest of the house—such as heating, electrical and plumbing—will need to be brought up to modern standards. Not for the faint of heart or limited budget.
