''Beautiful views'' of Beaver Creek's western hillside and ski runs are the images one sees when first entering the Highland's Penthouse. Every space has been remodeled with clean lines, subtle colors, simplicity, and functionality throughout the serene home.

The kitchen is centered in the Residence for efficiency when preparing meals. It's modern cabinetry and appliances are both beautiful as well as functional. Although compact, it does allow for more than one cook in the kitchen. It is also lovely to look at and well-designed.

The minimalism allows for a focus on functionality and the comfort, of the residence. The primary bathroom has a double vanity, spacious shower, and lovely stone slab counters. The primary bedroom has vaulted ceilings, with a California Closet system and a storage space above the bedroom entry. Should an Owner choose to short term rent the home, this space will allow for secure storage of the Owners' belongings.

One of the guest rooms has a murphy bed with a queen size mattress which drops down from a wall unit. It allows for an office during the day and guest room at night. The third bedroom has extra-long twin beds and views toward the western hillside. Both guest rooms have individual bathrooms which are newly remodeled with slab countertops and walk-in showers. The hallway bathroom also has the stack washer/dryer in it.

The home's tranquil atmosphere allows for resting by a wood burning fireplace, after a winter day of skiing or an afternoon sunning on the outdoor deck during a blue-sky summer's day.

The Highlands Lodge was remodeled in 2022; the remodel included windows, roof, exterior finishes, and interior public areas.
