The leaded glass cabinet doors reflect the design of the corner tiles of the hearth, and were fabricated by a Venice CA glass artist. The farmhouse style eat-in kitchen has plenty of custom cabinets to hold everything you need for family and entertaining. White/grey granite extra-large slabs were selected so that there are no seams in the countertops. All stainless appliances include a Sub Zero refrigerator with 2 bottom freezer drawers, Dacor dual fuel range, Dacor microwave/convection oven, Bosch dishwasher, and Broan trash compactor. The large stainless hood has 2 motors to easily handle gourmet cooking on the 6-burner cook top. A wide, curved breakfast bar has room for 4 bar stools. Below the bar height counter is more storage. The dining area has even more custom cabinets with wine rack and leaded glass upper cabinets to show off your finer glassware. The 2 downstairs bedrooms have large walk-in closets with closet organizers! Top-down bottom-up blinds allow for privacy while still letting the sunshine in. Both rooms are large enough for king size beds. The hallway adjoining the bedrooms has a built-in cabinet with extra deep drawers for all your linens. Want a bit of nostalgia? Enjoy soaking in the clawfoot tub in the downstairs bathroom. Prefer to shower? There is a separate glass enclosed, tiled-in shower. White subway tile wainscot is topped with a custom border which has green glass tiles. The white hexagon tile floor is accented with black diamond shaped tiles forming a center "rug". The Robern medicine cabinet is a 5 Â1⁄2 inches deep, mirrored on the inside as well. All bathroom hardware is from Restoration Hardware. A separate toilet room provides for privacy. The laundry room has an extra capacity front loading Whirpool washer and dryer. The dryer vents directly though the exterior wall, greatly improving drying time. A big farmhouse sink is wonderful for messy clean-up. The laundry room can be closed off from the house with the 5-panel glass door, reducing sound, yet still providing light. The laundry floor is a practical porcelain tile with a craftsman inspired accent. The entire upstairs is a private master suite with vaulted ceilings and a craftsman style ceiling fan. Custom drawers, cabinets, and bookshelves are built into what would normally be wasted attic space. With a bar sink, granite counter, and Sub Zero undercabinet refrigerator/freezer, you might not have to leave your suite for days! As with all the leaded glass in the home, the cabinet door panels were designed by the owner, and fabricated by the same Venice artist. The master also has a large walk-in closet, as well as 2 attic access areas for lots of extra storage. One of the locked attic areas also has a small safe. A deep soaking tub sits in a Carrera marble tub surround in the master bath. Bead board wainscot is topped by a continuous small marble shelf. The tiled in shower is accented with Austrian "broken" glass tile. Hexagon tiled floors give a period style, while also providing for safety. More custom built-ins include cabinet and drawer fronts with bubble glass, and an extra deep medicine cabinet. The general facts...
