The Eckel's moved into the home in a flurry of activity just 2 days before their daughter, Suzanne, was born. They raised their 2 offspring in this prized location right next to the Community Center and swimming pool. The home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, eat-in kitchen and living room all with large picture windows looking out onto the beauty of Bryn Gweled and the white pine forest out back which was planted as seedlings by the family in 1978. The home has a full basement as well. In 1991, the breezeway and garage with adjoining tool room and the east porch were added, nearly doubling the living space. At the same time as the construction of the 1991 addition, a geothermal central heating and cooling system was installed; this system has recently been replaced. The wood stove in the living room, used to heat the home through the 70s and 80s, is in working order.
