This brick house is in tip top condition and sits on an extra large wooded lot which affords great privacy in the back and side yards. Custom built for present owners who have meticulously maintained and updated it over the years. Just some examples: New hardwood flooring in all of the downstairs rooms except where tile floors were added in kitchen, half bath and laundry room. Upstairs tile flooring was added to all 3 full bathrooms and new carpet added to other upstairs rooms. The kitchen has new Corian countertops and faucets. All 3 and 1/2 baths now have fresh paint, new lighting, new faucets and new towel bars. And, best of all, the most expensive items have also been replaced: In the years since 2003, the downstairs and the upstairs HVAC have been replaced, a new oversized hot water heater has been installed, and a new roof has been added. The middle bedroom upstairs is huge and was originally designed to be 2 bedrooms. Both sides have closets so it could be fairly easily be converted back to 2 bedrooms. (Just dry wall and make door from hall entering through one part of the big closet.) Then the home would have 4 bedrooms plus a playroom. Besides being a great home in great condition, it is in a wonderful family neighborhood, Hidden Brook, which is very close to the elementary, middle and high schools of Signal Mountain. It's convenient location makes for easy access on and off the mountain.
