The original deed is dated 1890 however with the recent renovations this home has been done to todays building standards. The home consist of five bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. During the renovations, the entire interior of the home was gutted to the studs and redone. All the knob and tube wiring was removed and a new 200 amp electrical service was installed. The oil boiler was replaced with two high efficient gas fire heaters. There is also central air conditioning for those hot summer days. A brand new instant hot water heater will provide endless hot water so you never have to worry about running out. Brand new windows were installed through out the home as well as hard wired window candles to add to the historic vibe. All of the interior trim was redone and solid core doors installed to match the original way the home was built. Walking in through the front door you enter the main foyer. The first floor ceilings are 9' high with crown moldings, recessed lighting, new lighting fixtures and more! The brick fire place was stripped from years of paint down to the original brick. There is a red oak mantle, bluestone hearth and brand new remote controlled gas fireplace. Brand new Bruce oak flooring throughout the home shows off the spacious floor plan. The galley kitchen has 42" high white shaker wall cabinets, 8' long Island, under cabinet lighting, two large pantry cabinets, granite and new appliances. There is a breakfast nook in the kitchen and rite off the kitchen there is a formal dining room. First floor mud room with new washer and dryer leads out back to a large open yard so you can create the perfect place for your family. Walking up the steps to the second floor, the railings are accented with new oak handrails and wrought iron spindles. Second floor hallway has two closets, and the common bathroom. Each Bedroom leads out to a fiberglass deck with metal railings where you can relax and watch the world go by (the deck for the master bedroom is private). The master bathroom has a double sink, custom shower and also a linen closet. Leaving the second floor and walking up to the third, there are two more bedrooms. The exterior of the home was repainted. The main roof has asphalt shingles accented with new metal stand and seam roofs. Real wood shutters add character and complements the new landscape.
