It is nestled in the Mohnton Borough hills some 600 feet above sea level. 204 Slichter Dr is one of the homes that resides there. It is a quaint colonial revival styled home of approximately 2,500 square feet of living space laid out over two floors. The two-story foyer entry is warm and inviting. The hardwood flooring that adorns the area flows through the entire first floor, excepting the powder room and laundry where tile was more to the owners liking. The tile matches the granite vanity top and other adornments in the powder room. Just to the right of the foyer is a large living room that could be a dining area capable of handling a sizable affair. The family room is in the rear of the home along with the kitchen and dining room. If the front room became the dining area the rear dining area could serve as a breakfast nook. It has patio doors that lead to the large rear deck. The family room is sizable and features a triple window and gas fireplace. The kitchen is "U" shaped which provides room for bar stools. It has a tile back splash, dishwasher, range/oven and built-in microwave all surrounded in rich oak cabinetry. The master bedroom is on the upper level and is large enough to support a sitting area. It also has a walk-in closet, large linen closet and luxury bath. The bath has tile flooring, a garden tub with tile surround and a separate shower. It is a very inviting space. The upper level has three other sizable bedrooms and a hall, or common, bath. The home is heated with natural gas and cooled by central air conditioning. The home has been repainted and, for the most part, completely redecorated by the present owners. To say they have good taste would be an understatement.
