Sun, fun, history, and mystery — from the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum and everything in between, there is something for everyone and all just a few minutes from the apartment. The apartment is located right in the heart of Uptown St Augustine, just a few minutes’ walk from the main street known for boutique shops, art galleries, antique stores, and local eateries from pizza to fine dining — such as the beautiful Raintree Restaurant (a 3-minute walk away) and the delicious Luli’s cupcakes (5-minute walk). Head south along San Marco Ave where you will find all sorts of innovative food and drink options, cool indie shops selling everything from furniture to flowers, books, ice cream, cupcakes, art and then wind up in the downtown Historic District (20-minute walk) which is a whole other adventure. Those who appreciate architecture from the 1800s to the 1920s will want to walk through a number of small neighborhoods listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Abbott Tract Historic District, Matanzas Bay, Pine, San Marco, Shenandoah Aves and the Nelmar Terrace Historic District. Jump aboard the Trolley to see the city, or hire a bike and take your time soaking up each neighborhood, museum, and monument.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am per St. Johns County ordinance and are enforced. The minimum age to book is 21 and the primary guest on the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay. No parties are allowed, including bachelor/bachelorette parties, wedding parties, receptions, or any other large group gathering. Any guests visiting outside of the reservation must be approved by hosts prior to their arrival. No pets are allowed on the property at any time. No exceptions. Late check-outs and early check-ins require prior approval, and guests who stay past checkout time will be charged an additional fee of $50/hr. No vaping or smoking is allowed on the property, including the front porch. If evidence of smoking is found, an additional cleaning fee will be applied. Do not flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper. Parents with younger children use the home at their own risk as it is not child-proofed. Checkout procedures must be completed as written and posted in the house. Any excessive mess will result in an additional cleaning fee.
