This house screams character! The home does have a new roof (approx 2018?) and some new plumbing! Yes, it does need a lot of work but the interior looks much better than the exterior! Seller will be removing most of the contents prior to closing. Several of the rooms just need a good cleaning and some paint but many of them already have exposed studs so updating electrical, installing sheetrock, etc., will be a bit easier! The original wood floors throughout this home, while dirty, appear to be in fantastic condition! The large main floor rooms boast the big, original pocket doors and the formal dining room has a built in china hutch with leaded glass! A few updates have been started, such as a newer bathtub/shower combo in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The Sunroom has a closet so it could potentially become a 6th bedroom! I'm partial to this home...it's where my family lived when I was born!! The 2 fireplaces appear to be decorative only at this point. All of the woodwork also appears to be beautiful and original, including the huge beautiful windows and doors throughout! This home could truly be a masterpiece with the right person who had the time and experience to give it the attention it needs! The garage, while severely overgrown, has been lifted and had new footings poured as well as had the supports strengthened! There was an apartment above the garage at one time and it was also a horse stable back in the day!
