Ledroit Park is a quiet, tree-shaded enclave of Victorian mansions, stately townhomes, and quaint rowhouses. It is a historic district with wrought iron lamp posts, brick sidewalks, and many historical landmarks, from Anna Cooper's home to Howard Theatre. There are green spaces for relaxing, playing, and running right in the neighborhood including the recently built Ledroit Park, Crispus Atticus Park, the McMillan Reservoir and Sand Filtration Loop, and the Howard University Campus.
In the neighborhood is a wonderful mix of activities - and I would be happy to provide recommendations.
